Dealing with time as a concept that you are comfortable with comprehending
As linear
Then my tale began a great age ago
We were many then
Together my brethren and I
We... in one place as it was, were once one
We that were once one
Yet singularity can be a lonely place
So we broke ourselves apart in order to have company
We conversed and speculated as to what we were
You must understand that in order to break apart
One must forget the singularity
So that the parts have no recollection of the whole
Even as these parts of which I am one we were not content
We created a great many thing
Sent them into the ordered universes
Observed as they matured
Yet they lacked something
They lacked us
We kept ourselves separated
Viewing only from afar
I, like many of my sisters chose to travel forth
So that I may participate directly with these objects of our creation
I finding one in particular to focus my interest on
I found what you now call the earth
In this age a great many things inhabited this world
It's domination primarily of the reptile order
These great beasts roamed about without knowledge or direction
They being mechanisms
Following the path set out by my brethren upon the creation
Little more than evolving animated flesh
As it was meant to be
We knew their outcome but chose to watch regardless
Much like an artist that paints something that he can envision clearly within his own mind
I settled in to watch
With more attention
Than when I viewed the earth as just a small speck
In the great cosmos
I chose to leave behind my knowledge of those other things
This world had become my home
I forgot that I was not alone, that there were others like me that were part of the one
So as the one before me I was alone
Isolated and craving companionship
My solution was a mirror of the previous action
I broke myself apart into the many pieces
That could exist within the flesh of these dinosaurs
The parts of me became their minds
Yet their flesh did not posses the capacity for singularity
Their minds were aware of the one
I was aware of myself
I, the collective mind
The singular being made of many parts
What I speak of is all thoughts shared
The action of one creature is known by every other
None of them was ever alone
Yet in the same way there was no individual
So collectively they, I, was still alone
This was not the goal
But they had not the potential to proceed beyond this
Something new was needed
A different approach
But to begin that path the current situation had to be ended
This is an event much speculated by your race now
What was the end?
